My Space

Here are a few updates in our room. All picture frames are thrift or from the dollar store. The orange box is a shoe box which carries receipts. As for the second photo, I updated our lamp shade with a skirt I purchased a billion years ago. I will add some sort of ribbon around the top area to make it look less skirt-y.

I'm really into Kilims at the moment. They are handwoven, colored with natural dyes, and are infused with culture and history. There is much significance in the motifs, designs, patterns, and colors used, making Kilims that much more special. The Kilim I have here is Anatolian. It used to be a tiny rug but I made it into a pillowcase!

Updating With Spray paint

The Spray Paint Junkie is at it again!

I updated some things in the washroom using some primer/spray paint, these bumpy things I found at the 99 cent store, and lots'a love!

Hey, Homey

Here we have the home of Amy and Paul Hamilton. It was built in 1859, in Granville, Ohio.

"We enjoy bird watching from our kitchen window and love to display the works of art they create. The cake plates make a perfect pedestal for the nests."

"This is my millinery studio that used to be the old horse and carriage barn. We poured concrete floors and used salvage material and iron stair treads for the shelving."
